The short version: some links on this site are paid referral links. If you request a quote or buy through one, we may earn a fee. You never pay more because of it, and it never changes the price ranges we publish.
How we make money
MetalBuildingPricesHQ is free to use. We don't sell buildings and we don't charge readers, so the research is funded two ways:
- Affiliate referral fees. When you click a partner link and go on to buy a building, that supplier pays us a referral fee.
- Quote requests. When you submit our quote form, we share your request with vetted metal-building suppliers, who pay to receive it. You control this with the consent checkbox on the form, and you can withdraw it at any time.
Who we currently partner with
Our current referral partner is Whitestar Metal Buildings, a metal building manufacturer based in Grand Junction, Colorado that delivers across the continental United States, including Texas. If you reach their quote form through our link, a $500 credit is applied to your project automatically — that discount goes to you, not to us. We earn a separate referral fee from Whitestar only if you actually purchase a building.
What being paid does not change
This is the part that matters, so we'll be specific:
- Our price estimates are not influenced by partners. Every range on this site is calculated from published market cost bands and your county's ASCE 7-22 design loads. No partner can pay to change a number.
- We don't publish reviews, ratings, or testimonials — real or otherwise — so there is nothing for a partner to buy their way into.
- We don't claim relationships we don't have. If a company isn't named above, we have no financial relationship with them, and mentioning them anywhere on this site is not an endorsement.
- Paid links are marked in the page's HTML as
rel="nofollow sponsored", and labeled in plain English next to the link itself.
Why we tell you this
The Federal Trade Commission requires that material connections between a publisher and the products it recommends be disclosed clearly and close to the recommendation. We think that's the right rule. A price-research site is only worth reading if you can tell where the money comes from.
